Glamour Model, Page Three Girl and WAG, Nicola Tappenden is urging aspiring, young models to enter a nationwide talent search.

Bromley-born Nicola Tappenden wants more girls locally to take part the modelling competition being run by motorbike insurers Bennetts.

"Everyone should have a go at entering model search competitions, as you never know when you might get picked up and it opens lots of doors to models.”

As Nicola T. shot to fame after entering the first ever Page Three Idol Competition in 2002, she knows what it takes and is simply as girls to take a chance and follow her lead.

"I am living proof that these things work, I won this competition six years ago."
Tappenden, fiancé of footballer, Simon Walton, has recently taken part in the Big Brother House 2010. After being evicted on 27 January 2010, in sixth place, in a secret eviction, it was clear that Tappenden had stolen many viewers’ hearts, with her genuine girl next door attitude.
Mum- of- one, Nicola, was recently photographed attended the London Premiere of Valentines Day. The 26 year old WAG looked innocent yet stunning in her above the knee, semi puff, swing dress. The dress is made from baby-rose, pink satin and it is covered in a black lace rose design, teamed with classic patent, black heels. Wearing no jewellery but her engagement ring Tappenden looked very typical girl next door.
Since Big Brother Tappenden has been in the lime light working on her first single ‘Drunk’ due to be released in March 2010.

Hundred years ago an Angel was born

Just hundred years ago on this day, 26th August, an angel was sent to this earth to show the hungry world the panacea for its unending problems. The angel came with an olive branch of peace and love.

The little woman of Macedonia conquered the whole world
The dove of peace with an olive branch came from the ancient land Greece. Alexander the Great was born in Macedonia twenty-three centuries back, with an ambition to conquer the whole world with his sword. He came to India, failed in his attempt and returned to his country ‘empty handed’. A little girl was born in Macedonia, on August 26, 1910, with a destiny to conquer the whole world with the magic mantra of LOVE. When this angel was born, the world was getting ready to massacre the whole earth with the cruel hands of World War. Selfishness was reigning on the peak with greedy eyes of colonization. And this girl Agnes was brought up on the piled ash hills of both World Wars that bathed Europe and the world in innocent blood. She came to India in search of a remedy for man’s unending problems and suicidal greed. She conquered the whole world with her little heart of great love!

The Maid of the Gutters
“The Maid of the Gutters,” as mother Teresa was called, began her service of love in the Indian city of Calcutta, now known as Kolkata. Actually, when she came to India she was given the work of a teacher by her congregation. But her heart was moved by the suffering mass. She was shocked to see human beings treated mercilessly and thrown into gutters. The pitiable plight of the uncared ‘God’s images’ in the streets made her heart bleed. Through her Congregation of charity, she invaded the whole world. Selfless love was her only weapon of encounter.

Mother Teresa, in her expedition of love, continued out of Kolkata to capture the hearts of the world at large—the hearts of dictators and despots, for which she was criticized, as much as the hearts of presidents and other democrats and the common people, for which she was given the deemed Nobel Prize. It is the first time in history that dollars from the fortunes of dynamite-maker and possible drug lords have come to be used to the dying thousands and deserted millions all over the world!

The world’s hunger for love
Mother Teresa has expressed many a time the greatest problem of the world. “The world today is very hungry. It is not only the physical hunger that causes thousands die. But it is the spiritual hunger--the craving for love--that creates all the problems in the world.”

A conqueror of death
Mother Teresa has conquered death by her love. She conquered death by saving thousands from the jaws of death, dying on the streets of Kolkata. Even after her physical death, she has grown in stature, still living in the hearts of millions!

Two Legends

Great singers like Selena Quintanilla and Aaliyah Haughton are my favorite legends. Both of them had an impact on people. I still think of them and feel very inspired. The memories of them are not dead, and I feel the need to go on writing and creating art of them. I think about what they could have done and all of the things that Selena and Aaliyah did not get a chance to do. They were both on their way to be greater than what they were. I can not say that it would have been too much for them. They had great responsibility to lead whether they considered themselves as leaders or not. Selena and Aaliyah were good girls and people would have done anything for them. I believe that they helped to change some people just being alive using their talents in a good way. Selena and Aaliyah knew that they were great, but I don't think they realize what it was that they needed to do for God with their abilities. Maybe God allowed them to be taken in order for them to see what needed to be done. Maybe Selena and Aaliyah left us because they were needed for higher things and to meet God.


Today, I feel inspired and can feel something spiritually about the two of them. I believe that if they are with Christ, they are not dead. We understand the word dead as seeing a person die and leaving their bodies. We do not think of the rest of it. Aaliyah and Selena are both spirit now compared to us that are physically alive. They are like the angels now. Matt. 22:29-32 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. (30) For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. (31) I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. So spiritually Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are not dead. They are in heaven. The same thing applies for Aaliyah and Selena if they are in heaven.

She took the material and placed it on the table
Recorded the measurements in her book, wrote them quite legible
The she laid the cloth out and started cutting to specification
But during the process she had to leave to handle another situation

Leaving her scissors still in the fabric
Somehow I thought it was sign for me to complete it
So there I was snipping, smiling and cutting so happily
Beaming as i thought she will be so happy as her work was made easy

When she returned my she was so surprise
There was anger and fire burning in her eyes
My cutting was such that there was such damage
I could see there was nothing there that she could salvage.
